This week’s Peace Market will feature TV personality, Rochelle Trotter. Join her for food and fun in support of Strides for Peace at 12:00 pm. A cooking demonstration and tasting featuring produce from the Peace Market will be provided.

A farmer’s market that supports our communities, every Thursday this summer, in Chicago’s Gold Coast.
The Peace Market will feature fresh, local produce, delicious baked goods, and products from urban farmers and vendors who support at-risk youth and re-entry employment programs. The Peace Market also bridges communities and raises awareness of these valuable programs.
Peace Market vendors keep 100% of the proceeds. Strides for Peace funds two part-time internships for our Community Partner, Youth Guidance, which are given to St. James Church, in exchange for hosting the market.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
