Community Affiliates

The Race Against Gun Violence is more than a single event – it’s a dynamic platform that builds community, fosters collaboration and provides a platform to raise awareness and funds for your vital work.

Strides for Peace will consider adding Community Affiliates to our race platform until we reach capacity.  To be considered eligible, organizations must:

• Have 501(c)(3) status
• Be based in Chicago and in good standing
• Have a mission that is directly or indirectly involved in reducing gun-violence including: mentoring, sports and recreation, arts, education, job and career preparation, cognitive-behavioral therapy and community development.
