City Council Approves Strides for Peace Race Against Gun Violence
CHICAGO (May 2, 2017) – Strides for Peace was honored to have the City Council vote to approve a Resolution introduced by Chairman Ariel Reboyras, in recognition of Strides for Peace’s Race Against Gun Violence. Heartfelt thanks to the Mayor’s Office and Chairman Reboyras for sponsoring the resolution, and to Community Partners Gary Comer Youth Center, Paving the Way and Youth Guidance for standing with us that day. Together, we can solve the problem of gun violence and create a safer Chicago.
